Natural
daylight significantly improves the environment within any
building and research now shows that buildings, which
utilize
daylight as their main light source, have lower running
costs and are more energy efficient than those using
artificial sources.
Marlon CS
Longlife corrugated polycarbonate sheet is an ideal
rooflight to maximize natural light. Clear polycarbonate has
a light transmission of 90% higher than FRP and PVC.
It is available
in clear, bronze and opal tinted options, as well as a
heatguard reflective surface option, ideal where solar
control is required. |
Of all glazing
materials, Marlon CS Longlife corrugated polycarbonate
exhibits greatest resistance to impact over temperature
extremes from -40°F to 210°F without any significant
deterioration of its mechanical or physical properties. It
is up to 200 times more impact resistant than glass making
it a durable material for all climates.
Marlon CS
Longlife is available in a wide and increasing profile
range, including both Greca and our standard 9" On Centre
profile. Marlon CS Loglife is lightweight and offers good
workability allowing it to be easily installed in a variety
of structures.
When a fire in a
building is underneath a Malon CS Longlife sheet it will soften and
open, allowing smoke, heat and gases produced by the fire to escape.
This 'venting' property means that damage within buildings can be
limited. |
