At MWI Components (Metal Works, Inc.), we manufacture high-quality metal products used in post-frame buildings across all 50 states. From agricultural to commercial construction, our work shows up everywhere—and we take pride in doing it right.
We’re looking for a Welder who takes pride in craftsmanship, values consistency, and wants to be part of a team that delivers results.
Perform MIG welding on steel, galvanized/galvanneal steel and aluminum components according to specifications and work orders
Read and interpret work orders, prints and measurements to ensure accurate production
Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
Inspect welds to ensure quality, strength, and accuracy
Perform grinding, finishing, and fabrication as needed
Maintain equipment and keep work area clean and organized
Follow all safety and quality standards
Work with team members to meet daily production goals
Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Previous welding experience
Ability to read a tape measure and interpret blueprints
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks
Strong attention to detail and quality
Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
Willingness to learn and grow
