About the Role
Under the direction of the Customer Service Manager, the Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing exceptional customer support and accurate order entry. This role serves as a key point of contact between MWI Components and its customers, ensuring a seamless experience through clear communication and efficient service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary contact for customers, providing prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable assistance.
Accurately enter and manage customer orders, ensuring details are complete and communicated to production.
Proactively update customers on order status, lead times, and any changes to schedules.
Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships based on trust, reliability, and responsiveness.
Collaborate with internal teams — including production, scheduling, and shipping — to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.
Address customer concerns or complaints quickly and effectively, finding solutions that maintain satisfaction and confidence.
Provide product, pricing, and availability information to support customer needs and sales efforts.
Identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience and recommend process improvements.
Support company goals by embodying a “customer-first” approach in all communications and actions.
Requirements
Qualifications & Education
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of customer service experience.
Strong communication skills with a professional, customer-focused demeanor.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in order processing and follow-up.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP systems preferred.
Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive mindset with a passion for helping others and solving problems.
