24", 36" & 48" Square Cupolas

  • Pre-Painted 29-Gauge Construction

  • Color Options: Available in over 100 standard colors, including durable Kynar finishes.

  • Durable Edges: All metal edges are hemmed, ensuring no risk of red-rust.

  • Flexible Sizing: Offered in 24", 36", and 48" sizes, shipped knocked down for convenience.

  • Weather-Resistant Design: Roof and side panels interlock seamlessly for a weathertight connection.

  • Flashing Trim Options: Flashing trim sets are available from MWI, allowing contractors to build custom wooden mounting curbs on-site.

  • Universal Base Option: Pre-assembled universal bases are also available, shipping separately from the roof and side assembly. These eliminate the need to construct wooden curbs on-site, simplifying installation.

Available in vented or windowed side configurations, these striking cupolas are offered in three sizes:

  • 48" and 84" Octagonal

  • 66" Square

Side Panel Options:

  • Louver Sides: Feature two 9-louver panels per side for optimal airflow.

  • Window Sides: Include two 6-light panels per side for an elegant aesthetic.

Window Construction:

  • 1/8” clear polycarbonate panes, framed with extruded PVC trim and mullions for durability and a clean finish.

  • Sealed with 100% silicone caulk to ensure a weatherproof fit between the window trim, panel, and sidewall steel.

Material Quality:

  • Roof Module & Side Walls: Built with ¾” ACX plywood for structural integrity.

  • Exterior Cladding: Fully wrapped in SMP-painted 29-gauge sheet metal for exceptional weather resistance and longevity.

Hardware Features:

  • All exterior fasteners are zinc-plated or feature a supplemental painted topcoat for added corrosion resistance.

  • Powder-coated trim components boast a durable 3–4 mil TGIC powder coating, available in smooth and textured finishes.

Square cupola universal base

Factory-Assembled Base (No Wood Curb Required)

  • Adapts to roof pitches ranging from 1/12 to 12/12.

  • For 1/12 through 7/12 pitches, use model numbers:

  • C242 / C362 / C482 / C662

  • For 7+ / 12/12 pitches, use model numbers:

  • C242HP / C362HP / C482HP

  • The Universal Base ships with an enclosed top for non-vented applications but can also be requested as vented. It mounts directly onto steel roofing or purlins.

  • Suitable for both new construction and retrofits, utilizing the same base.

  • Powder Coat Finish available in over 50 colors.

  • For colors outside our standard powder coat offering, flashing sets are available for 1/12–7/12 pitches (fasten the flashing set to the universal base on-site).

Cupola Access Window

Accessing your cupola is now alot easier and safer. It includes a removable window that effortlessly slides out of the cap, held in place by four thumb screws with a lock nut to avoid losing any screws. Moreover, the window is fitted with high-quality sealant to effectively block out water and pests. The window is also equipped with stiffeners embedded within the frame of the to add extra support when handling the window.
